Stealing Focus

Tonight's walk was a little earlier and a little shorter than usual because I wasn't feeling the best. But we did make it down to the sea wall and caught the sun as it set over the harbour. At one point Louise and I were sitting on a bench so I could rest and take a few pictures when she decided to get her face into the photo.

This is not like her. She normally 'puts up' with my camera at best.

Anyhow, I took the photo and sure enough she had a satisfied expression on her face. The buildings are blurry because my camera automatically focused on her face instead. Not that I mind, I would have focused it that way myself.

I have just found your blog , love it! This year we adopted a pug rescue by the name of Rosie. Like your Louise, she is rather grey in the face and looks "old" that is why noone wanted to adopt her. I have a pug/maltese called Oscar and my peke died a couple of years ago (she was 17 yrs old - now that is old! LOL). So - we bent our rule of "only one dog now" and got Ms Rose . Rosie was 8 and negleted and ill but although she has bad eyes and ears and this looks like it will be this way forever - we are so glad we have her. Oscar took awhile to come around but he is a old guy of 13 and she keeps him company.
Please give Louise a big Aussie pat from Oscar and Rosie. We will be stopping by to see what you lot in Canada are up to from now on!
